We need your help to make these events and activites great for our kids, schools, and community! 

To join a committee:

  • Log into your account on the Closter PTO website
  • Navigate to the "Volunteer" menu, choose "Volunteer for Committees"
  • Scroll through the committee list and check the boxes for the committees that you would like to participate in, and submit your form
  • The committee chairs will reach out to you with next steps

Art to Remember

Description:  

Look back at and treasure your child’s growth through artwork! Art to Remember is a creative fundraiser allowing parents to purchase keepsake products customized with their child’s art – each purchase captures a moment in time and raises funds for our school!

This year, we are bringing Art to Remember into your home with a new virtual program! Help us make sure families can keep the tradition going this year while supporting our schools! No artistic talent required! Just a helping hand to meet project guidelines.

Class Parents

Get involved in supporting your child's teacher in the classroom as a Class Parent! A wonderful opportunity to visit school and be involved in activities such as class parties, field trips, and other events.

After School Enrichment Program (ASEP) Hillside

Description:  

The Closter PTO offers an After School Enrichment Program (ASEP) at Hillside Elementary School and at Tenakill Middle School in the Fall and Winter. ASEP is sponsored and administered by the Closter PTO. It is not a school program. We offer an incredible variety of classes and activities, including yoga, chess, mad science, magic, photography, art, nature, and sports. Classes will run from 3:20-4:20 PM at Hillside, for 2 8-week sessions (fall and winter). More information will be available online, including class descriptions and registration, in early September.

8th Grade Graduation Events

Description:  

Dear 8th Grade families: There are some exciting things being planned for our 8th graders this year as we celebrate them graduating on to high school. Traditional gift items will be purchased for EACH student and are given to them at year end.
