Read-A-Thon gets your TMS student excited about reading, while giving friends and family the
opportunity to encourage your child to read even more and raise money for our school- 80% of
money raised goes directly to the Closter PTO to support Closter Public Schools! Click HERE to

Get ready for the Tenakill Read-A-Thon in 3 simple steps:
1. Set up your child's account HERE. Enter your child's LANGUAGE ARTS teacher and
select the PERIODS of their Language Arts class, e.g. Lagomarsino (1-2). Create an
account with the student's full name and parent's email.
2. Use the easy online tools to tell friends and family about Read-A-Thon so they can
support your child by making a donation.
3. Track and log at-home reading sessions starting on Monday, March 6th through Friday,
March 17th. Students can also log any independent reading sessions completed at
school.

PRIZES will be awarded for:
? Top School-Wide Fundraising Student: $100 Amazon Gift
? Top 3 Fundraising Students in each grade will win a gift card to a Closter Plaza business
of student’s choice:
o 1st place - $25 gift card
o 2nd place - $15 gift card
o 3rd place - $10 gift card
? Top Readers in each grade will receive a $10 gift card to Build Your Yogurt (Cresskill)
**Note: student must read at least 250 minutes to qualify for above prizes**
? Every student who reads at least 180 minutes AND raises $10 in donations will be
entered into a drawing for a $20 gift card to either Wally’s, El Taco Bar or Cocohodo
(student’s choice).
? LA class with the top average minutes read per student will win a Pizza and Donut
Party! So tell classmates to join the Read-a-thon and READ!
